About this game
Overview
Breakout is an eight-level brick-breaker you play in the browser. Launch the ball from the paddle, break the bricks, and bounce off gray bricks that never break. Catch falling capsules for a wider paddle, a slower ball, extra balls, or an extra life. Three lives carry from level to level. Clear level 8 to win. Mouse, touch, or keyboard all work.
Tips
- The ball stays on the paddle until you launch it.
- Gray bricks are solid and cannot be broken.
- Catch a capsule with the paddle. Wide lasts 30 seconds, slow lasts 8 seconds, and both can be active together. ×3 adds 3 balls each time. +1 adds one life.
- Score and lives carry over when a level is cleared.
